Kickboxers are getting ready for competitions

They will participate in two competitions soon

The kickboxers of Springs International Sport Fighting Organisation (ISFO) are getting ready for several competitions this year.

Under the guidance of ninth dan Shihan Danie du Plessis, third dan Sensei Brittany Crocker and second dan Rick Ferreira, this club will participate in May in the Galaxy Challenge in Kempton Park as well as in June in the Great North Championships.

The ISFO club teaches sport kickboxing and is affiliated to the World All Styles Kickboxing Organisation and SA Amateur Kick Boxing Association.

They practice titami kickboxing that consists of semi contact, light contact, musical forms and musical weapons where the kickboxers learn the art of fighting with music.

To be able to do kickboxing the participants have to be fit.

During practice times on Mondays and Wednesdays at Selcourt Primary School they focus on fitness, as well as combinations, coordination and fighting techniques.
