Are you ready for Black Friday?

Many save months on end to be able to buy some of the valuables they need, this can vary from appliances to grocery hampers.

Kwatsaduza – Shoppers have mixed feelings about participating in the upcoming Black Friday taking place internationally on November 29.

This is an informal name for the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

Some feel this is just another day and are not interested in participating.

One of those who will not be participating is Maria Khalo.

She says she will not be participating because she believes many spend money they don’t have on items they don’t need.

“As a country, we are currently going through an economic meltdown and it is best that we save the little money we have on basic items than items that you can’t even take back.

“I have gone through different sale pamphlets and I don’t see the big savings which would force me to get out of bed in the early hours for,” she says.

An enthusiastic shopper, Granny Matlala, says she will be buying furniture for her new house.
