I heard the residents of Petersfield Extension have put their heads together and now have an enclosed area, not unlike the one at Selcourt Enclosure.
This drives me insane with envy, because I think it is remarkable that a community can come together like that to ensure their safety.
One of my friends currently stays in Petersfield Extension and she says the new boom gates are amazing.
I also heard crime decreased in the area.
How great it must be to feel so much safer.
With security guards too no less!
With the crime rates so high, I wish more communities would take this initiative to surround their communities.
I know the people responsible for the new enclosure struggled for years with the legalities of everything, but I think it is definitely worth it.
I just want to congratulate the people behind this initiative and say to them, ‘well done’.
You deserve to enjoy the peace and tranquility that hopefully comes with your new ‘safety net’.
We need more people like you.
