Several words about Ralph

Remember recently I showed you evidence that Ralph is a pain in the furry butt!

Well! He’s still up to his nonsense.

Firstly, he spends most of the day just lying around.

Once he finds a spot he tends to sleep there for a week or two.

Not all the time, obviously, but every time he does sleep – he sleeps in that spot.

Sometimes he has two spots for different times of the day.

At the moment he fancies Luan’s bed for his daytime snoozes.

He could have a nice bare patch of duvet but he much prefers to sleep on top of Luan’s latest assignment or his books or something.

Then he has a food break, where he comes downstairs on the dot of four.

This is Ralph’s decreed dinner time.

If mom is not already downstairs (which is highly possible) he comes upstairs looking for her.

He jumps on her desk and becomes such a nuisance that mom finds it easier to just go downstairs and feed us.

Even if there happened to be some pellets left over in his bowl from breakfast (slim to none chance usually) he’ll ignore them until he’s scarfed down his tasty packet of cat food.

He’s nogal fussy about these too – sometimes he turns his whiskers up at what’s being offered.

Sadly for him – mom tells him that’s it.

He’ll have to eat pellets instead.

Sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn’t.

Lately, at night time, he dashes upstairs before we all go to bed and ensconces himself in my baskie.

That would be the baskie belonging to my own furry self.

Not his skanky self.

Mom scoops him up and plonks him on the bed.

He looks all miffed and unplonks himself and tries to relocate to my baskie again.

Mom gathers him up again and tells me to get into my baskie quick chop chop.

But that fine furry hair that Ralphie sheds makes my nose tickle, so I have to wait for mom to first turn the cushion over in my basket.

Then I climb in.

We all go to sleep.

In the early hours of the morning Ralph scratches at the door.

Time for his midnight roam.

Mom lets him out.

A bit later he scratches at the door to come back in again.

Mom lets him in.

Spoilt brat cat!
