We can’t all send photos of meter readings

The council seems to be under the impression that we all have the facilities to send photos of our electricity readings to them.

What about putting a few simple telephone numbers in the Addie to make it easier for us not so lucky residents to just call in and give our readings?

We sometimes see the lady who reads the meters, and a very nice lady she is too, but the meter reading does not always happen.

I do realise that there are some people who are not completely honest in giving their readings, but I do think that they are in a small minority.

Please council, do something!

It would also be nice to get an answer to a call made to the accounts department, or are they too busy?

All the numbers on the electricity and water accounts do not work and have been disconnected.

Almost forgot, I must congratulate the department concerned for repairing the Selection Park swimming pool.
