The Springboks may have lost in what was a very surprising and obviously disappointing match, but we should not be judging the men in green and gold so harshly.
We have all come to expect the Boks to do well and advance without breaking a sweat, but one loss doesn’t account for the many years the team has done us proud.
I read somewhere: “How can you celebrate your team’s win, if you can’t stand with them when they lose?”
These are extremely true words and I wish that, as South Africans, we can all stand strong behind our team, win or lose.
They do not need to be poked fun at or be told that they are useless or even criticized by so many who cannot even kick a ball, let alone catch one.
These men fought hard to be where they are and I have full faith that they will bounce back with force.
One loss cannot deter the Sprinboks.
