The centre is extremely grateful for the financial contributions, whether monthly or once off, clothing of all sorts, bedding, toiletries, toys, food and prayers – the list is endless.
To all the wonderful people who organised fundraising events in aid of the centre, and all the kind people who visit the centre on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and put big smiles on the faces of our residents, your efforts are much appreciated.
Each and every contribution has made a difference to all the special residents living at the centre, as well as all the dedicated staff.
Vita Nova Centre is still facing a crisis but somehow we manage to survive month to month.
Please diarise August 29 as we plan to break the Guinness World Record for the most people making heart shaped hand gestures.
This event will take place at Wemmer Pan from 9am to 9pm.
There will be live entertainment, various stalls, a potjiekos competition, a car show, various prizes to be won and lots more.
We are in need of various prizes for contests as well as people to assist us on the day.
