No response from local authority

Thank you to the CPSF members for their spontaneous support.

On Friday 23 January 2015 at 1pm the residents of Kwa Zenzele saw fit to demonstrate there dissatisfaction towards the Lesedi Local Authority by walking through the streets of Endicott throwing the un-collected refuse left on the verges into the roadways causing total obstruction of the roadways.

The chairman of the Community Policing Sub Forum for Vischkuil / Endicott Rural Mr Dennis Grose spent three hours phoning various Lesedi Executive Managers explaining the severity of the demonstration and the Health and Traffic obstruction problem it caused.

Not one official spoken to was even interested and had no intention of assisting in cleaning the mess.

No Lesedi official was even sent to investigate the incident.

Later in the afternoon Mr Grose immobilized members of the CPSF Vis-End Rural and jointly they put shoulders and spade to work and cleared as much of the mess as they could before night fall.

This is not the first time this has happened with no response from the Lesedi local authority.

We don’t condone the actions of the Kwa Zenzele Residents but understand there frustrations which are shared like wise in Vischkuil and Endicott with the could not care attitude of the Lesedi Local Authority.

As chairman of the Vis-End Rural CPSF I wish to thank the members for there spontaneous support.

Dennis Grose, chairman Vis-End Rural CPSF and chairman Sector 3 CPF.
