I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to the many civic-minded people of Springs who are restoring our beloved duck pond in Selection park.
Goosey Fernandez, Gert Parsons and all the other people involved are giving their time, financial support and expertise to this worthwhile project with the aim of providing a beautiful, restful place for Springs residents to enjoy.
I am sure that the ducks and geese will also revel in their new environment.
If we had to wait for our incompetent council to do something about the pond, we would wait forever.
It would be so nice if al the other ponds and dams around Springs could be transformed in the same manner as our town is very fortunate to have many of them.
