The simple truth of the matter is that you awarded the contract to a BEE company with no track record.
Likewise you paid huge deposits and you have neither seen the deposit back or your BEE contractor. For your teams insight, input and your incapacity to award the contract to a reputable pool company I believe you failed dismally .
Now we have another swimming pool that has been put out of action (Pam Brink) and just where do you think kids are going to swim when they get hot?
They will end up swimming in old mine and brick quarries with no supervision and no lifeguards and mark my words Mr Mayor there will be drownings in those quarries.
When this happens Mr Mayor please comfort those poor parents by telling them how you and your cronies awarded a R810 million contract to another BEE company to supply water meters and they once again didn’t have a working model and 89% of the units supplied have failed but you couldn’t find the funds to fix a public pool.
I realise countless councillors have been suspended over this water meter debacle but in all fairness the buck should stop with you Mr Mayor
Shame on you Mr Mayor and in the real world were you would have been held accountable for your failures you would have been fired eight years ago.
Man up and do the proper thing and resigned so we can find a Real Man who can fix this town seeing you’re not up to the challenge
