Bhairavi Sungum celebrates heritage concert

The multi-cultural Sarasvathee celebrations heritage concert is bringing the Hindu community to perform their cultural items.

The Bhairavi Sungum of Springs will host its 28th Multi-Cultural Sarasvathee Celebrations Heritage Concert, on October 13 at the Bakerton Community Hall at 14:30.

This cultural event is a platform that brings the Hindu Community namely Hindi, Tamil, Gujarati and Telegu speaking to present cultural items in their respective language.

This is in praise of Goddess Sarasvathee, such cultural platforms shapes togetherness within the community, which embraces the diverse heritage.

The Sungum has lined up a fully multicultural programme set to keep the audience glued to their seats, which includes cultural performances from its fellow organisations.

The performers B and S Bhajan Group, Bhagwan Ka Divya Dhun, Gurukulam School of Fine Arts, Nadantha Dance Academy, Shree Marieamman Kalieamman Siva Subramanyam Aalayam, Shree Sitthi Vinayagar Alayam, Shri Raam Bhajana Mandiram, Springs Hindu Seva Samaj, Springs Sanathan Ved Dharam Sabha, and the Bhairavi Sungum of Springs.

The evening’s guest of honour and speaker is Dr Sivakumarie Reddhi an energetic cultural and Tamil teacher and contributor to the arts and culture.

The community is invited to the cultural heritage concert, the entrance is free followed by supper.
