• September 9
The Empilisweni Old Age Gym Development announces its reopening. They invite all current members and those interested in joining to attend. The session will be from 08:30 to 10:00 at the Mthombo Building on Prince George Avenue across from Wright Park. • 13 en 14 September
Die Laerskool Jan van Riebeeck bied hulle jaarlikse Jan se Skuld Fees aan. Die fees sal op die Hoërskool Hugenote se terrein plaasvind met ‘n rits kunstenaars om na uit te sien. • Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. Meat World Springs calls all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park. It runs from 07:00 to 12:00. Stall hire for businesses is R150 and R100 for farmers.
