Striders aim for champs

Members from Springs Striders Athletic Club were chosen to participate in the provincial championships that took place on August 17.

Juniors members who took part were Anushka Harbst, Kara Beytell, Lisa van Eeden, Oratilwe Matshaba and Tiaan Van Eeden.

Senior members were Brian Currie, Elaine Beytell and Jan Saaiman.

All members did well and Kara Beytell and Brian Currie have been chosen to represent the province at the South Africa Cross Country Championships that will take place at the Isaac Steyl Stadium on September 7.
