Bright future ahead for models
Both girls won their categories at this year‘s Miss Springs competition.
To be a model is not for everyone. It entails self-confidence and natural beauty, something Zanokuhle Ntshangase and Karabo Masango have an abundance of.
The pair recently rocked the Junior Miss Springs stage when they won their respective categories.
Although they look like they could be sisters, Karabo is Zanokuhle’s aunt. Six-year-old Zanokuhle is extremely confident when she walks the runway.
She was introduced to modelling as a two-month-old baby when her grandmother would carry and parade her on the stage.
As she grew older, her aunt, Karabo, inspired her. Over the years, they trained together and taught each other the ropes.
“I enjoy the gifts I receive after modelling and being a title holder grooms me as a young girl,” she said.
With all the self-confidence with which Zanokuhle walks the runway, it is hard to believe she is shy and introverted.
She has been taking modelling classes through Deon Krause at All Star Model Academy for years. She signed up for Petite Miss Springs to inspire other girls.
Not only did she rock the runway with her beautiful outfit but impressed the judges with her stage personality and won the title of Petite Miss Springs.

Karabo (12) followed in her niece’s footsteps later in the afternoon and also won her category as Junior Miss Springs. Karabo also describes herself as shy and introverted.
“The confidence that I have on stage helps me to hide my shyness and I become untouchable on the runway.”
She has been modelling since the age of four and is also coached at All Star Model Academy for the last seven years.
“As a little girl, I never thought I would become a model one day but I haven’t looked back since I started.”
Both girls have a bright future ahead of them and are set to reach great heights in the modelling profession.
