Golfer heads to inter-provincials

Christy Raper (25) from New State Areas in Springs and who works in Brakpan, will represent the Ekurhuleni Golf Union at the South African Premier Inter-Provincial Tournament in September.

The tournament will take place at the Stellenbosch Golf Club from September 14 to 21, and Raper is one of eight members of the A-division team.

Jordan Burnand from Benoni is the team captain, and the manager is Jan Kruger, the president of the Ekurhuleni Golf Union.

Raper is part of the premier inter-provincial team along with Burnand, Tylor Phillips, Marno Lange, Jonathan Wilsenach, Nicko Venter, John William Blomerus and Josh Plaatjies.
