Dancer shines bright on stage

Dancer Hope Bailey garners awards and medals galore.

In the vibrant world of dance, one name is making waves and capturing hearts – Hope Bailey. This year has been nothing short of spectacular for the talented dancer, as she continues to dazzle audiences and judges alike with her breathtaking performances.

March marked a particularly triumphant period for Bailey, as she showcased her skills at the prestigious Starquest competition clinching not one, but two gold medals.

Undeterred, she then embarked on an exhilarating journey to the Dance World Cup, where her artistic abilities further cemented her reputation as a force to be reckoned with.

Hope’s mother, Brenda said April brought another round of accolades as Hope graced the stage at the Oos-Rand Kunste Fees.

“With her dynamic presence, she claimed the title of grade winner for Bhangra, contemporary, hip-hop, and jazz, garnering impressive scores that left judges in awe,” said Brenda.

“Securing her spot in the finals was merely the cherry on top for Hope.”

Adding to her ever-growing list of achievements, Hope made her mark at the DTMA Gauteng Awards in May, clinching the third spot for hip-hop along with three medals.

Reflecting on her daughter’s remarkable journey, Brenda, expressed profound pride and admiration.

“I am very proud of my daughter’s achievements and all her hard work,” she shared.

“Her countless hours of dedication, coupled with the guidance of her exceptional teacher, have truly paid off.”
