School achieves second place

The awards ceremony took place in Germiston on February 7.

Dr WK du Plessis School is on an academic roll.

The school bagged second place for Best Performing High School Overall in the NSC exams.

This award was handed to them at the Godfrey Pitje Academic Excellence Awards on February 7.

The event took place at the Germiston Civic Centre.

Proud principal Jacobus van Eeden, endearingly referred to as Cobus, says this is a testament to the dedication of the learners and the support of the teaching and therapy staff.

“We are immensely proud of this honour and remain committed to excellence in education.”
