Veritas College boasts a remarkable 100% pass rate

Veritas College proudly announces the successes of the Class of 2023, marking yet another remarkable milestone.

The Veritas College class of 2023 gathered at the school to celebrate their 100% pass rate following the release of the IEB results on Thursday morning.

Principal Judy Achary extended her heartfelt congratulations with joy and pride to the school’s extraordinary matric class on their outstanding results.

“Your hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence have resulted in a remarkable 100% pass rate once again, showcasing the exceptional quality of education provided at Veritas College,” said Achary.

Among the achievements, 43 out of 47 learners attained a bachelor’s pass.

“This is an accomplishment that speaks volumes about the dedication and academic prowess of our students,” said Achary.

Furthermore, 21 learners achieved a total of 37 distinctions, with Achary expressing that they have set a standard of excellence that is truly commendable.

Four learners achieved four or more distinctions:
• Jordan Spies attained five distinctions in English, Afrikaans, life science, CAT (computer applications technology) and life orientation with an average of 81%.

• Andrew Nicolaou attained three distinctions in Afrikaans, CAT and life orientation with an average of 79%.

• Robyn de Kock attained three distinctions in Afrikaans, English and life orientation with an average of 77%.

• Calvin Reid attained three distinctions in English, CAT and life orientation with an average of 76%.

“The remaining four students have secured diploma passes, demonstrating their commitment to success in their academic pursuits and ensuring that all our learners can attend a tertiary institution of their choice.”

Achary thanked the teachers for their dedication and passion for education.

“Your tireless efforts and commitment to nurturing the minds of our students have undoubtedly contributed to the outstanding results we celebrate today.

“Your guidance and mentorship have not only imparted knowledge but have also instilled a love for learning that will last a lifetime,” Achary added.

“Thank you for being the driving force behind our students’ academic success.”
