Planned power outage within Springs area

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) has planned a scheduled power outage on November 28. The power outage will take place from 09:00 to 18:00.

This is due to Eskom maintenance work.

Please note that the following areas and establishments will be affected:

• Struisbult
• Selcourt
• Selection Park
• Daggafontein
• Distell
• Bevcan
• Element 6

The CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini says work to restore power will be undertaken with the intention of restoring power to the affected areas.

“No guarantee can be given that they will meet this deadline.

“The work will continue until the Eskom maintenance has been completed.”

Residents are warned to be cautious as all electrical networks and equipment shall be regarded as being electrically alive while the maintenance is performed.
