H2O swimmers win in the OR Tambo Soncini Games

The swimmers participated in the OR Tambo Soncini Games which were held in Soweto.

Swimmers from the H2O Swim School participated in the OR Tambo Soncini Games recently. The event was hosted by the Gauteng Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture at the University of Johannesburg Soweto campus.

Brandon Royal won gold in the 50m butterfly and bronze medals in the 100m breaststroke and 200m freestyle.

Ethan Murray earned two bronze medals in the mixed relay and 200m freestyle. Keira-Lize Martins won bronze in the mixed relay.

Coach Heather Grafe says a lot of hard work and dedication has been put in to ensure the swimmers’ success.

“We are so proud of their achievements and hard work. A special congratulations to the medal winners.”
