Libraries to be open on Saturdays for exams
Select libraries across the metro will be open for the exam period until November 25.
The City of Ekurhuleni will open selected libraries every Saturday for the duration of school examinations to accommodate students and learners.
This period will end on November 25.
This initiative is intended to give students and learners a safe and welcoming space to study and provide them with resources and materials that might not be readily available or affordable.
“This will go a long way in ensuring library patrons have study spaces conducive to successful examination preparations,” said city spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.
The city wishes all its residents well as they prepare for their examinations and assignments.
Local libraries open during this time are Springs, Bakerton and Dunnottar.
