Tshipi Noto owner holds charity golf day for birthday

The founder of Tshipi Noto Funeral Home Services held a charity golf day on Friday to celebrate his birthday.

Tshipi Noto Funeral Home Services held a prestigious golf day at the Pollak Park Golf Club on Friday as part of the company’s CEO birthday celebrations.

The funeral home called on corporations and individuals to sponsor holes and donate money towards the charity event that seeks to change the lives of those in need.

CEO Tebogo Tshipi said that over the years he has realised that birthday celebrations are no longer about him but for the community.

“When we celebrate birthdays, we’re so used to inviting people to celebrate with us, but knowing that there are people in need made me change that concept,” said Tshipi.

“Our golf day was more than a success. I feel honoured, especially by businesses supporting us who purchased holes.

“I’ve seen growth, and I’m impressed by it. I want to keep pursuing it to ensure that it grows bigger than this,” said Tshipi.

Three beneficiaries will be receiving donations from the event. They are Matshidisong LSEN, Phelang LSEN, and Mpho Madi Foundation.

Tshipi affirmed that the beneficiaries were dearer to him as they were within his vicinity while growing up.

“My support for the community does not stop here,” he said.

Tshipi added that they are working on identifying other organisations the funeral home can support.
