Here is a look at what is going on in Springs.

• August 9
Machknitz is hosting a Women’s Day Vintage Tea from 10:00 to 14:00. There will be a fashion show and various speakers will be present. Ticket prices include a meal and all funds will be donated to Vita Nova Centre. The venue is 10 Osterloh Road, Casseldale. For more information contact Adri Grib on 083 552 0068.

• 1 en 2 September
Die Springs Fonteine Lente Skou vind by die Hoër Tegniese Skool se sportgronde plaas. Hope vermaak, stalletjies en uitstallings gaan oor die twee dae gebeur. Vir meer inligting, kontak vir Yvette Botha by 079 519 6688.

• September 8
The AGM of the Springs Senior Citizens Club at 13:00. The venue is 1a Seventh Street, Springs CBD. All members must please attend to ratify the proposed new constitution.

The proposed constitution is available for viewing at the club’s premises. For more information, contact Pauline on 011 811 0098 or email seniorcitizensprings@gmail.com. These are the events that take place every week.

• Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. With this, Meat World Springs is calling on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park and it runs from 07:00 to 13:00.
