Market Day Wednesdays with MachKnitz

Wednesday mornings are for knitting and crocheting for charity with MachKnitz.

Genevieve Nicholls and her mom, Susan Roos, had a good time together while crocheting a blanket and a table runner.

Local NPO MachKnitz encouraged knitters and crocheters to unite and enjoy each other’s company every Wednesday when it hosts its market day.

It’s also a day for experienced knitters and crocheters to teach others how to do these needle crafts.

The groups gather to share experiences while gazing at the winter sunshine over tea, coffee, and baked goods.

MachKnitz has an impressive variety of unique knitted garments, jams, rusks, preloved books, wool, knitting machines and more items.

The MachKnitz Centrum is on 62 Mentz Street, Casseldale.
