The City of Ekurhuleni is aware of a power outage in parts of Springs and the Nuffield industrial area.
“Our technicians are busy conducting tests to establish the cause of the outage. The estimated restoration time will be communicated to affected customers and the general public through the city’s social media platforms as soon as it is established,” said Zweli Dlamini, the metro spokesperson.

The city said it will do everything to ensure that power is restored as soon as possible.
“In the meantime, customers are urged to treat all electrical networks as live at all times,” he added.
