Brandon and Melanie Schapira celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on February 26.
The couple started dating 44 years ago and have three children. They have four grandchildren, with a fifth due soon. They both grew up in Springs and have resided in Dunnottar for the past 21 years.
“Family is everything to us. Even though all marriages have up and downs, good communication is a priority and we still love each other so much.
“The ultimate goal is to happily grow old together,” said Melanie.
The couple hopes their long marriage inspires others not to give up on theirs too easily. They believe issues can be positively solved.
“Remember to focus on creating wonderful memories together,” she added.
Brandon is a master property practitioner and has been in the property business for nearly 30 years. This inspired them to start their own business 17 years ago.
