Vita Nova looks forward to a fruitful year

Vita Nova Centre director, Michelle Immelman, is happy that the centre and the EMS are in good standing.

The director of Vita Nova Centre, Michelle Immelman, says she is hopeful things will go more smoothly this year.

This follows a year of worry after the Gauteng Department of Health’s emergency medical services were at Vita Nova’s mercy as they owed a hefty amount of debt for rental.

“We eventually got our money in December from the EMS and we are happy to be closely working with them again,” said Immelman.

“It’s quite pleasant to have the EMS staff members here. They are always available to assist us when we need help.”

Immelman said the EMS promise to pay on time has been well received, and she is relieved that their relationship has not been tarnished.

As a way to bring entertainment to residents, Vita Nova is preparing for its annual fundraising fun day to be held in the first week of May.

The date is yet to be confirmed.
