• January 21

Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. They call on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photo of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• January 29

The Springs Craft and Farmers’ Market runs every last Sunday of the month. Enjoy fresh produce, arts and crafts as well as fresh and delicious food. The venue is the Horse and Hound Pub and Grill’s parking area and it takes place from 08:00 to 14:00. Stall hire is R150. • February 03

The Springs Senior Citizens Club will hold a Valentine’s lunch at their premises; 1a 7th Street North, Springs CBD. Expect entertainment from the Carillon Singers. Booking is essential.
