Gear up for the Striders road race
Amateur and professional athletes have the opportunity to start the training season on a good foot.
The Striders Athletics Club will be hosting its annual road race on January 22.
The run will be held at Veritas College Senior School.
Apart from the traditional 15km and 32km distance options, the club will also be introducing a 5km route and a Tiny Tots race.
“This is a fast, flat route and a good race for athletes to put on their training calendars,” says club secretary Kim Westley.
Athletes will also be treated to free muscle massages post-race on the day by Pitzer Health Adventure.
