Clear skies for Gingers Golf Day

The competition had a great turnout.

November 26 saw the monthly Gingers Golf Day take place at Pollak Park Golf Club.

More than 40 players took part on a beautiful, clear morning after the heavy rains of the week.

“The course has benefited immensely from the plentiful rain, and players can look forward to many enjoyable rounds of golf over the holiday period,” said Bruce Gardner from the club.

This month’s results were as follows:

First: Peter Woods with 39 points.
Second: Johandre Erasmus with 38 points.
Third: Kobus van Zyl.
King of Shorts: Ray Luck.
Closest to the pin: Johandre Erasmus.
Longest Drive: Bruce Gardener
Longest Day: Julian Harwood.

Peter Woods was the winner for this month. The golf course will be hosting the Gingers Golf Day final competition on December 4.

“Players can look forward to a great day’s golf followed by a wonderful meal and prize giving,” said Gardner.
