Help restore beauty to War Memorial

Residents are called to bring their plants to be planted at the War Memorial on December 1.

This is in line with the efforts at celebrating Springs’ history and returning the town to its former glory.

Clr Charmaine Kock says she is passionate about the site and sees many good things happening in the town.

“We want to appeal to the community to bring a tray or two of seedlings. Gardeners will be there, so they won’t have to plant,” she said.

Various organisations have been at the forefront in restoring Springs and making it beautiful and safe.

“People keep telling me the site hasn’t looked that beautiful in 20 years. I am happy to be part of its transformation,” adds Charmaine.
