Support Springs SPCA’s Christmas Market

Join the Springs SPCA at their Christmas Market on November 25 at the For Pet's Sake charity shop.

The Springs SPCA will be hosting their Christmas Market on November 25 at the For Pet’s Sake charity shop. The market promises to be a good time for family and friends.

“We will be selling second-hand items from our charity shop and we are appealing to the public to please donate items that they no longer need,” said Thandiwe Nkosi from the SPCA.

“We also have a book shop where we sell a variety of books from R10 depending on the condition and size of the books.

“Our SPCA relies on the charity shop to keep the facility running.”

Lebogang Mthimunye said they are looking forward to the market.

“I’m so excited to be preparing for the event. I wish the public could see the stock at the charity shop,” she said.

“I’m hoping our stock will be more than what we have at the moment.”

Unwanted items such as clothes, linen, curtains, furniture, crockery, blankets, toys, books, CDs, DVDs and any other items that are in good condition will be accepted.

All proceeds from the event will go towards looking after the animals at the branch.

Donations can also be dropped off at the SPCA branch in Strubenvale, Springs, at Plot 8, corner of Ermelo and Townsend roads. Alternatively, collection can be arranged.

The market will be from 16:00 to 20:00.
