Help local business breathe back life into local school’s feeding scheme

November is charity month and a local business is paying it forward.

A local business is getting into the Christmas spirit a little early this year.

Vision Air Brakes has decided to help a local school with a fundraising initiative, which aims to collect food and raise funds to aid the school’s feeding scheme.

They have expressed the need for the community to help them bring meals to the children who often only eat at school.

Due to the scarcity of stock, the feeding scheme is said to be barely functional which makes it hard to provide the children with their much-needed meals.

“We are a local business that cares about our community. It only feels right to help those who need us the most,” said organiser and administrator Micayla du Preez.

They will be running the initiative for the duration of November and they hope to collect enough provisions to help the school provide meals right through December and into the new year.

Donations can be made on their premises in the form of non-perishable food items, monetary contributions or by buying tickets for the lucky draw.

They request the community and local stakeholders pay it forward by helping them to give back to the community that is home to all.
