Cupcakes of Hope celebrates a decade on National Cupcake Day.

Cupcakes of Hope needs Cupcake Angels to help the organisation reach its target of R10m on National cupcake Day on October 1.

Cupcakes of Hope will be celebrating its 10th birthday on National Cupcake Day, October 1, at Springs Mall.
This NPO supports children with cancer across the country and is appealing to South Africans to bake in honouring lost loved ones and cancer survivors.
While childhood cancer is an extremely challenging journey, Cupcakes of Hope offers a light-hearted, fun and rewarding way to stand in solidarity with cancer survivors.
Volunteers, fondly known as cupcake angels, are generously offering their time to bake or those who support the fundraising campaign.
“Cupcakes of Hope is not just a platform where we help children with cancer. Volunteering to honour our friends and loved ones who have been affected by cancer brings joy, healing and purpose to so many of us,” says Sandy Cipriano, founder of Cupcakes of Hope.
The organisation’s coordinator for Springs, Brigite Pita, says she is once again looking forward to hosting the fundraising campaign and hopes that the community will support it.

“I would like to see more parents and their children involved in this campaign to help save a lot of lives. As a parent, I know that life is unpredictable. I believe in helping because we never know when one might need a helping hand,” says Brigite.
Cupcakes of Hope aims to bring volunteers across the country together to raise funds to reach their target of R10m.
The community may get involved by either baking and donating cupcakes or for a small donation, they will receive a cupcake at one of the stalls in Springs Mall.
The proceeds from the fundraising campaign will go towards covering medical bills and other day-to-day essentials of young cancer patients.
To sign up as a cupcake angel, email signup@cupcakesofhope.org or contact Brigite on 082 541 7156.
