Nici Neal partnered with Karen Gerber to win the semi-finals of the Gauteng senior women’s open pairs competition.

They beat runners-up Emma Murphy and Shannon Davies.
The competition will continue on Saturday when the men meet for the fours.
None of the members of the Springs Town Bowling Club entered the competition due to the club’s uncertain future at the time.
The members are, however, excited to be hosting such a big event on the bowling calender.
