Man shot during hijacking

The victim was driving from Devon to his house in Sharon Park.

A man was shot in the leg as he was robbed of his car last Saturday.
“The victim was driving from Devon to his house in Sharon Park.
“At a four-way stop, he decided to stop to relieve himself. He noticed that a car without number plates drove past him and it came back and stopped in front of his car,” explained Sergeant Themba Tshabalala, communications officer of Springs SAPS.
Two men approached him and asked for matches.

“While walking to his car one of the men grabbed him by his clothes and the other one hit him on his head with a gun.
“They demanded everything in his pockets, but he told them everything is in the car.
“They told him to lay on the ground and then he was shot in his left leg,” added Tshabalala.
They drove away with his White Nissan NP200 (JV35KN GP).
