Councillor and local security company make a difference at home for quadriplegics.

Ward 74 councillor Thulane Simelane and an Ekurhuleni-based security company recently visited the Impumelelo Self Help Centre for Quadriplegics to carry out some maintenance work.
Simelani said this was a follow-up visit following the festive season when they assisted with a deep cleaning of the centre in partnership with the Department of Health.

Members of the community also assisted.

“While we were cleaning late last year, we discovered that their ceiling was not in a good state and it needed paint. We decided to come together to buy paint and do the work,” said Simelane.
