Cellphone store robbed

Balaclava-clad robbers overpowered two security guards and made off with numerous goods.

A cellphone store in Selcourt was robbed during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A security guard was patrolling outside the building when he was overpowered by three men.
“He says they were all dressed in camouflage clothing and balaclavas. They were all armed with revolvers.
“The robbers tied him to a palisade fence with his belt,” explained Capt Johannes Ramphora, communications officer of Springs SAPS.
