The South African Weather Service has predicted a longer rainy season. This also increases the likelihood for sporadic sewer spillages due to possible ingress of stormwater into sewer line.
The City of Ekurhuleni urges customers to report spills when they spot them.
Reporting service interruptions such as sewer spillages improves the response by the City. It also assists the City in maintaining the dignity of people.
