Robbers break window to gain entry

The woman and her husband were asleep when she heard a window breaking.

A Dersley Park couple was awakened when robbers forced their way into the house during the early hours of Friday morning.
The woman and her husband were asleep when she heard a window breaking.
“A big pot plant was thrown through another window. She screamed and threw the pot plant out the same window,” explained Capt Johannes Ramphora, communications officer of Springs SAPS.
The robbers then fired three shots from outside.

“Three men got into the room through the window. They threatened her at gunpoint and demanded money. The robbers ransacked the house,” explained Ramphora.
They made off with two flat screen TVs, two cellphones, a laptop and other valuables.
They loaded the items into the victim’s black Mazda Etude (HJK004GP).
