A 28-year-old retail worker was ambushed by a robber last Friday.
The victim was at the store where she works when the man approached her.
“The man had clothing in his hand and she asked if she could help him. The robber pulled out a gun and ordered her to be quiet and go to the back office,” explained Capt Johannes Ramphora, communications officer at Springs SAPS.

She then saw two other men pushing other staff members into the same office.
“They were all told to keep quiet and sit down on the floor. The robbers then asked for the keys to the store,” he added.
They made off with cellphones and cash.
