Explore the many ways to enjoy Melville Koppies

Because of the more relaxed Covid-19 restrictions, they are reintroducing two of the options offered before Covid.

Every Sunday from 08:00 to 11.30, you can experience many varied options on Melville Koppies.
Because of the more relaxed Covid-19 restrictions, they are reintroducing two of the options offered before Covid.
You can now join a 90-minute guided tour starting at 08.30 sharp from the reception hut in Judith Road. Book by emailing wendavid@mweb.co.za

The popular 8km guided hike has been reintroduced at Melville Koppies.

Or, on the first Sunday of every month, you can join an 8km guided group hike.
It leaves at 08:00 sharp from the reception hut in Judith Road.
The hike includes Melville Koppies Central and East and you must be reasonably fit.
If these don’t suit you, you can still choose from a self-guided 5km scenic hiking trail, which you can do at your own pace.

If your interest is in the nature and history of the area, you can try out the self-guided Heritage Trail.
Maps and notes are provided.
Or, you can take a map of the numerous paths and just explore wherever your feet take you.
Adults R80, children R40, a season ticket for a year per adult is R500 (not transferable).
Security on the Koppies is provided.
Park in the secure parking opposite the entrance at Marks Park in Judith Road, Emmarentia.
