A planned electricity supply interruption is expected in Springs from Thursday.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni, the interruptions will occur from 08:00 on Thursday and 20:00 on Monday.
“The supply interruption is due to replacement of the mini-substation supplying power to parts of Springs CBD,” explained Zweli Dlamini, spokesperson of the City.

The following roads will be closed during the above-mentioned period:
• Corner 5th Avenue and 2nd Street
• Corner 4th Avenue and 2nd Street
“Customers are urged to treat all electrical networks and connected equipment as live at all times during the above-mentioned period.”
