Past Francois Jooster delivered a sermon in honour of the men and women of the Springs SAPS.

“On this day, we want to honour you (the SAPS) for what you do for the country and the community.
“But tomorrow morning when you walk into your offices, you will be faced with several giants. And how do you, as men and women in blue, then confront those giants?
“If you choose to do it in your own strength, you will fail.

“But if you choose to have your minds changed and be delivered, the best is yet to come. Because when we don’t function in our own minds and spirits anymore, but give ourselves over into the hands of the living God, He will provide the strength wisdom and courage.”
These were the words of encouragement from Past Francois Jooster in his sermon on Sunday morning.
The pastor also prayed for protection and for the SAPS to receive the boldness to carry out their mandate efficiently.
Jooster encouraged the community to do what they can to make the work of the police easier.
