Man wanted for attempted murder of Pollak Park resident

Victim showered with bullets outside his home

A Pollak Park resident narrowly escaped with his life when an intruder shot at him outside his house in the early hours of last Saturday morning.
“The victim was opening the garage when an unknown man, who was hiding behind the bushes, started firing shots at him.
“The suspect then came closer, pushed the victim to the ground and demanded the keys to the VW Polo parked in the garage.

“The victim threw the keys below one of the other cars in the yard,” explained Capt Johannes Ramphora, communications officer of the Springs Police Station.
It is alleged that the gunman fled after being was disturbed by another person who came running and screaming.
Three cartridges were found at the scene.
