Couple killed in Slovo Park

Five cartridges and one projectile were found at the scene.

A couple was murdered in their Namibia Drive, Slovo Park, home in the early hours of last Thursday morning.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora said a witness told police the deceased woman was calling out to her brother, who lives in the shack next door, when they heard the sound of gunshots.
Soon after the shots were fired the witness saw five men fleeing the scene on foot.
The couple was found dead inside their home, with the woman lying between the bed and a cupboard with a single gunshot wound to the back of her head.

The man was found kneeling over a bucket with a gunshot wound to the back of his head, two gunshot wounds to his back and one to the hand.
It appeared to police that nothing had been taken from the house.
Five cartridges and one bullet were found.
The motive for the murder is currently unknown.
