Cellphones stolen during Selection Park robbery

The value of the stolen cellphones is R1 900.

A couple was tied up during a business robbery in Selection Park last Sunday evening.
The man told police he lives and works at the premises on Phoenix Road and had just come back from the shop with his girlfriend when they were confronted by three robbers.
One of the robbers had a gun and pointed it at the couple and instructed them not to move.
They tied their hands and legs together and locked them inside the room.

The robbers then took the couple’s cellphones before fleeing.
After some hours, the man untied himself and opened the bathroom window.
He jumped out and saw an ADT security guard outside who used the spare keys to open the gate.
The value of the stolen cellphones is R1 900.
No shots were fired during the robbery and nobody was injured.
