Life Springs Parkland Hospital opens vaccination site

Companies that wish to bring in a group of their employees can call Parkland on 011 812 4053 or 011 812 4168 to make an appointment.

The Life Springs Parkland Hospital opened its Covid-19 vaccination site on Monday morning.
From Tuesday, the public will be able to get its Pfizer vaccine against Covid-19.
The site will also help those who haven’t registered on the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS) get registered.

Sheila Smit was up bright and early to get her second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Sister Edith Sithole administered the vaccine.

“Our site will be open from 08:30 and we are looking at vaccinating 60 people per day and that will increase as time goes by.
“We want to assist our community and help vaccinate as many people as possible so we can reach herd immunity,” said hospital manager Cora Muller.
