Business robbery in Dersley

Dersley store robbed by three men

A cellphone store in Dersley was left counting the costs after a robbery last Sunday morning.
The shop owner said he was sitting outside his Cloverfield Road shop when three men in a white VW Polo stopped in front of the shop.
They got out of the car and approached the shop owner.
One of the men pulled out his gun and pointed it at the shop owner before they forced him to enter the shop where they searched him.

They took R500 cash from his pocket and his Samsung A10 cellphone, valued at R2 000.
They then locked him in the bathroom.
Luckily for the shop owner, he was talking to a friend over the phone when they started robbing him and the friend heard what was going on and went to the shop and got the victim out of the bathroom.
It was later discovered that some of the clients’ phones that they brought to be fixed were also taken.
The value of those items is not known at this stage.
