A Pollak Park woman is lucky to be alive after intruders fired a shot in her direction during a robbery at her St Andrews Street home last Sunday morning.
The woman told the police she was sleeping while her two sons were in the lounge. She was woken up by the sound of people forcing their way into the home.
Three men forced open the steel security gate with a crowbar and kicked the wooden door open.

Once the victim complied with their instruction, the intruders then took one 49-inch TV, one 32-inch TV, a cellphone and a tablet before fleeing.
Police later found a 9mm cartridge in the lounge and a small crowbar at one of the back corners of the yard.
